Finally wrangled the Epstein files chaos
Just spent my entire night untangling that giant dump of files the US House Oversight Committee released from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate - seriously, it’s 20,000 documents, and the whole thing was a disaster of random folders, half-redacted spreadsheets, and email chains about everything from blackmail to holidays with Trump, all split into weird chunks. There’s even a folder labeled “NATIVES” that’s just a video of a dog playing with Trump and Hillary Clinton plushies. Since the collection was a nightmare to navigate, I pulled all of it together into Google Pinpoint so you can actually search for stuff, like “Trump holiday” or whatever combo of names you’re after, instead of clicking through a landfill to find one email. Pinpoint isn’t perfect and can get a little glitchy - if the page keeps crashing, try turning off your VPN, that fixed it for me. I’m hoping to contact the Pinpoint team tomorrow to see if I can set up things like shortcut buttons or maybe a list of the most popular searches. Anyway, I hope this makes wading through all the Epstein chaos a little easier, and big thanks to everyone who’s already been helping test it out!
