Watching Russia’s empire act fall apart
I am so tired of Russia acting like some invincible empire when, in reality, they’ve been bogged down in Ukraine for years - and at this point, the war has dragged on almost as long as the Soviet Union’s entire fight against Nazi Germany in World War II. Seriously, how does a country that used to call itself a superpower end up getting clowned by Ukraine for this long and still try to act tough? Every time someone tries to claim it’s just “Muscovites” at the top and everyone else in Russia is some poor oppressed victim, I have to roll my eyes. The Russian army - the same one doing all the torturing, raping, and killing of civilians and POWs - is mostly made up of people from all over Russia, not just Moscow. Those “oppressed rural folks” aren’t innocent bystanders here; they’re actively part of the brutality. And as for Russia’s supposed trump card, their nukes are basically a meme at this point - no one takes that threat seriously anymore, not when their economy is falling apart, their birth rate is in free fall, and they’re running on fumes and Soviet nostalgia. Even if Russia sticks around for a few more decades, they’re limping along on pure copium. If beating Russia means going all-in with ancient Roman-style determination, then whatever, but honestly, the country is already self-destructing without anyone’s help. Puck Futin, for real.
